The Conseil des Appellations Réservées et des Termes Valorisants has an information service whose mission is to provide information to the general public, to consumers and to its various partners. The department also answers various requests for information it receives.
Information material and training workshops
To meet the needs of businesses and of its partners, the Conseil des Appellations Réservées et des Termes Valorisants makes information material available and offers training workshops. The latter are adapted to suit demand and conducted taking specific needs into account.
These initiatives are aimed at answering various objectives:
- Summarizing and explaining the requirements of designations in order to ensure that they are used fairly and according to the rules
- Assisting businesses in setting up good practices
- Explaining the processes leading up to the recognition of designations and the benefits they represent.

Consumers, businesses and institutions can access information on reserved designations for the whole province. This information is based on data gathered by certification bodies.
