Throughout 2020, the Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ) developed official logos for each reserved designation and a Guide de normes graphiques (Graphic Standards Manual) for the symbols and logos involved. 

Use of the logos is reserved exclusively for businesses holding a certificate of compliance for the reserved designation or added-value claim in question. These businesses must use the logos in the labelling of products that have been certified by a recognized certification body as compliant with the relevant specifications. The logos may also be used to promote products in various media. Unauthorized use of symbols and logos is prohibited and offenders may be prosecuted immediately without further notice.
